FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Chelsea started school today at St Pauls School. She said that she felt a little nervous this morning but when I dropped her off she looked right at home with all the wee girls gathered around her making her feel welcome. When I picked her up, the teacher said that Chelsea had had a great day and that she is "on to it!". Also that Chelsea was just lovely and once she started talking on a subject she was quite hard to stop! :) She couldn't wait to show me her homework bag and pull out her very first reading book. We actually sat on the step right outside the classroom when I picked her up and she took me through the whole thing. She had a fantastic day and is very excited about it all. Long may it continue... into her teens hopefully! :)

Adsta...

It is the 1st of August 2011. A whole year has gone since you passed away. At times it is still hard to believe. Thankfully there is a massive part of you running around here. She is so much like you and she remembers so much. Just the other day we heard a song in the car by Pitbull and Chelsea said... Daddy would love this song wouldn't he! He would be dancing in the car!.. So very true. I wanted to post something on behalf of Chelsea, from a daughter to her Daddy, that you are very much missed and will never be forgotten.

We think of Adam/Daddy every day and I thought it was time to start posting some photo's of his little girl for family and friends to see and smile at how much she is like him in looks and sometimes personality as you will see in the video below. We spent 11 days in Sydney in January and there are some neat photo's from our time there. Tenielle and Herdy will be putting a video on for you all shortly but in the meantime I thought you might like the photo and video below.
















This is Chels and her wee friend Eden just before they go into the hall for dancing lessons. They love it! Although you will see from the video that sometimes Chels just loves the camera that much more. :)

On 1 August 2010, our family received the tragic news of Adam passing away. His funeral was held on Friday, 13 August 2010. Sarah and Chelsea flew over to spend some time with their Aussie Family. Here is a little something we put together for our beloved Adsta.

THE CONCERT!

On Sunday 9 May Chelsea got up and sang at her Poppies concert in front of a large crowd. It wasn't practiced at all but Chelsea said she would like to sing on the stage with a pink microphone and so she did. We didn't think that she would get up once she saw all of the people but she didn't hesitate one bit. In fact, we were sitting right up the back of the hall and when Poppies said her name she jumped up and ran all the way past the people and up the stairs onto the stage. I didn't catch her saying hello to everybody unfortunately or the applause afterwards but the crowd was in raptures. She is going to be a star! :)

Just a couple of photos for you all to view. Here is Chelsea with the twins Madison and Lachlan who came for the day this week. They play really well together and had a great time dressing up, baking biscuits (only eating about a quarter of the mixture!), drawing and dancing and then we all jumped in my wee car and went to McMillans to see the Kuni Kuni pig and for a fluffy. A good day had by all. The bottom photo is one of my favourites of Chels. She's in her new tracksuit sent over from Grandma.

Chelsea and Daddy (March 2010)

Had a great visit to see Chelsea in March 2010. Little Munchkin was beautiful as always, settling in well to her new kindergarten. Had some fun at Chipmunks, At the Beach, On the Internet and Watching Movies (Chels loved Back to the Future and Never Ending Story!) Little Chels also loved going to Cobb and Co for dinner with daddy and mummy.

What a wonderful Christmas! Chelsea back in Australia and back in her original bedroom at Leumeah! Lots of presents, lots of food, smiles and plenty of hugs. This video below has a good collection of the still photos and movies I shot of CJ during the Xmas period.

Christmas 2009 is nearly here!

CJ coming to Australia, which will be wonderful to have her back home for a short stay! Everyone looking forward to big hugs and I'm sure CJ will be one spoilt little girl!
